Jerry Zhou has almost two decades of experience in quantitative research and is a partner at Laurion Capital Management. Since joining Laurion, Jerry has been working on developing quantitative strategies (both fundamental and technical) and quant-informed discretionary strategies. Jerry was the Co-Head of LCM Shanghai Investment Consulting Co, Ltd and the Shanghai based quantitative equity research team. Jerry received a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Tsinghua University in 2004 and was member of a research effort which experimentally determined and published the world’s first crystal structure of SARS-COV main protease in 2003. Later Jerry studied in Prof. Christopher T. Walsh’s research group and received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology from Harvard University in 2008. During his academic study, Jerry authored nine research articles which were published in international journals.
